Level Legal is seeking licensed attorneys interested in gaining practical, hands-on eDiscovery experience through remote document review projects. No prior document review experience is required – this is an excellent entry point for early-career attorneys looking to build real-world legal experience while working from home.
In this contract role, you will provide services on a project basis as part of a managed review team for specific, active legal matters. You will review documents and other data for relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and factual issues. You will accurately and consistently apply project protocols to the data, ensuring that your work meets the quality and productivity standards established for the project.

Role Details
• Role: Contract Document Review Attorney, 1099.
• Location: Fully remote, but must reside in the U.S., and all services must be provided from within one of the 50 states or Washington, DC.
• License Required: Active U.S. law license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• Contracted Payment Rate: $28/hour (flat rate).
• Typical Project Lengths: Short‑term projects, generally two to eight weeks. But project lengths will vary.
• Typical Project Hours: Projects require a minimum of 40 hours during the workweek. Projects may require additional hours or work on weekends.
Qualifications
• Active U.S. law license in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written review protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Prior document review experience is helpful but not required.
Technology Requirements
• High-speed internet access in a private home office.
• Computer:
o Windows 10 PC (or newer) computers, or
o MacBooks with macOS 12.0 or later.
• Mobile Devices (used for Multi-Factor Authentication only):
o Android 10+ or iOS 14.0+.
• Headset and webcam for video meetings.
• Tablets are not supported for review but can be used for Multi-Factor Authentication.
