Richardson, Plowden & Robinson, P.A. is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Construction Law and General Litigation practice group in our Mt. Pleasant, SC office. Candidates must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and possess strong academic credentials, exceptional research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Description
• Defend construction defect matters for developers, builders, subcontractors, and related parties
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions when appropriate
• Manage written discovery, meet and confer strategy, and case deadlines
• Take and defend depositions, prep witnesses, and support trial preparation when needed
• Coordinate with experts and manage expert discovery
• Support mediations and settlement strategy, communicate clearly with clients and carriers

Qualifications
• Active South Carolina Bar license (required) / sitting for the SC Bar Exam in August 2026
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, organization, and deadline management
