About Us
The Jeffcoat Firm is a respected South Carolina personal injury firm with a reputation for results, heart, and hustle. Our team of attorneys has recovered nearly $100 million for clients across the state — from Columbia and Greenville to Charleston and Myrtle Beach. But numbers only tell part of the story.
What sets us apart is how we get there: with humility, grit, and relentless advocacy for real people. Whether we’re in the courtroom or the conference room, we treat every case — and every client — like they matter. Because they do.
We reject ego. We embrace growth. We make no excuses — and expect the same from every team member.
Now, as we scale to meet increasing demand, we’re looking for a seasoned Supervising Attorney to bring structure, accountability, and strategic leadership to our personal injury division.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead a High-Performing Legal Team
Oversee a team of 8+ personal injury attorneys across pre-litigation and litigation.
Set and uphold clear legal standards — ensuring consistency, quality, and ethical excellence.
Provide tactical feedback, mentorship, and real-time coaching to attorneys at all levels.
Drive Operational Excellence
Own team performance metrics — including case velocity, revenue goals, and litigation success rates.
Identify bottlenecks and resolve them before they impact client outcomes.
Partner with firm leadership on workflow, staffing, and systemic improvements.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of legal talent.
Step In Strategically
Lead complex or high-impact cases as needed, from strategy through settlement or trial.
Review legal work product, discovery plans, pleadings, motions, and expert strategy.
Ensure communication standards are upheld across all client touchpoints.
Mentor and Develop
Provide thoughtful leadership and development for newly licensed and mid-level attorneys.
Support our law student programs through mentorship and oversight.
Model the Culture
Lead with integrity, transparency, and urgency — and expect the same from your team.
Be a cultural touchstone: direct, fair, client-focused, and outcome-driven.
