Job Title: Associate Attorney

Aiken Bridges, P.A. is a civil litigation firm based in Florence, South Carolina with a statewide practice and a small-firm feel. We are hiring a Litigation Associate (0–3 years) and are truly open to entry-level candidates, including applicants who have recently taken the bar exam and are awaiting results or who plan to sit for the July 2026 bar exam.

Our goal is straightforward: we train lawyers to be lawyers. New attorneys at Aiken Bridges are developed into courtroom-ready litigators through hands-on experience, close mentorship, and real responsibility. Associates are taught to handle civil litigation from start to finish, including depositions, drafting and arguing motions, preparing for and participating in mediations, and trying cases.

Our civil litigation matters include:

Hiring criteria

Candidates must be eligible for and ultimately admitted to the South Carolina Bar. If you are awaiting bar results or sitting for the July bar, we are willing to have you begin full-time as a law clerk and transition to the associate role upon admission.

Compensation is competitive and includes health benefits, a 401(k), excellent bonus potential, a cell phone, PTO and holidays, and a CLE budget. Associates will have a defined track towards partnership and an understanding of the benchmarks required to get there.
