Job Title: Trial Attorney

Lively Law Firm is currently expanding our team with an innovative and eager Bilingual Trial Attorney to operate from our offices in Charlotte, NC. You’ll be at the forefront of deportation defense, appellate practice, and federal litigation, working diligently to secure justice for our clients. Training in immigration law will be provided, and experience is preferred but not required.
In this role, expect to appear in court up to 3x a week and be awarded flexibility to work from home after successful onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the charge in court for various hearings and USCIS appearances.
Prepare clients and witnesses for trial.
Craft powerful legal briefs, motions, and EOIR filings.
Collaborate with our team to uphold high-quality legal services.
Implement legal strategies created by your managing attorney with precision.
Offer insightful consultations and supervise legal assistants effectively.
Maintain and manage an active caseload, working in tandem with our staff attorneys.
Stay updated on immigration law and serve as a subject matter expert.
Innovate and refine legal processes to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
Other duties, as assigned.

Hiring criteria

A Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution and a good-standing member of the state bar.
Fluent in Spanish; excellent (bi-lingual) written and verbal communication
