Job Title: PI Attorney

A South Carolina personal injury firm with multiple South Carolina offices is looking for an aggressive, intelligent, and talented Attorney to handle South Carolina personal injury cases. The attorney will work with a team of Paralegals and Legal Assistants but needs to be able to work and function independently to drive the success of a case. Most importantly, the person we hire will be aggressive, tech-savvy, highly organized, detail-oriented, work well without direct supervision, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. This position allows for some remote work but will require in person attendance in the office as required by the best interest of the client and case, and may require travel to different locations in South Carolina for court appearances, depositions, or meetings.

Attorney Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Give excellent customer service to every client.
Maximize the value of personal injury cases.
Skillfully negotiate with insurance companies.
Treat your team members with respect.
Move cases expediently from beginning to end.
Litigate certain cases as necessary.
Aggressively represent each and every client to maximize compensation and leave client satisfied and wanting to return to the firm.
Attorney Experience and Qualification Requirements:

Licensed in South Carolina State and Federal Courts.
Have Rule 403 Certification and be able to attend Court Hearings, Including Minor Settlement Hearings and Wrongful Death Hearings.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
The ability to adapt to changes necessitated by advancing technology and best business practices.
Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
Outstanding computer, research, technological, and organizational skills.
Outstanding people skills.
Preferences:

At least two years of experience in a personal injury firm.
Experience in some type of litigation.
Hunger for advancement and financial opportunity.

**Typically, pay is a hybrid of base salary and commission upon hiring, with transition at the appropriate time to commission only.
