Job Title: Associate
I am a Partner at the Brehmer Law Firm, LLC, which is a small firm of 3 attorneys in Columbia, South Carolina. My practice is primarily insurance defense civil litigation. I am looking for an associate attorney that is either about to graduate or a recent graduate. My practice areas are mainly personal injury, construction defects, and insurance law. The associate will start off doing pleadings, discovery, legal research, and document drafting before getting licensed. After licensure, the associate will be doing all additional aspects of civil litigation, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, doing settlement approvals, and trying cases. The associate will be trained by experienced attorneys and will be given extensive litigation exposure from the start.
