Position Purpose
As a member of the Legal Department, you will work with a wide variety of business areas. This important work may involve litigation management, corporate and insurance matters, data privacy and security, large federal and state contracts, government and commercial procurements and complex technology agreements. You will provide legal counsel to management on diverse issues affecting the company and its subsidiaries. You may also handle litigation, administrative complaints, contract analysis and drafting, and research and interpret laws impacting the business.

Provide legal counsel, research, and analysis, on a broad range of legal matters impacting the organization
Manage litigation and administrative complaints
Compose and recommend business communications
Negotiate complex contracts and assist with contract dispute resolution
Serve as a key member of your assigned business area(s), contributing to the growth and success of the organization
Collaborate and share best practices with legal team colleagues
Provide concise, practical communications and advice in a fast-paced environment
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need the Following:
A degree from an accredited law school
To be South Carolina Bar Certified, including a Rule 405 Limited Certificate of Admission
Have 3+ years of experience in business litigation, corporate legal work OR judicial clerkship experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead, influence, and persuade
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to build relationships and rapport with executives and upper management
A strong business acumen and ability to succeed in a fast-paced business environment
Microsoft office skills
We also prefer that you have:
6+ years of experience in business litigation or corporate legal work
Understanding of technology and technology law issues
