Job Title: Judicial Law Clerk

This is a position to serve as a judicial law clerk to Milton G. Kimpson, an At-Large Circuit Court Judge for the state of South Carolina. Judge Kimpson’s office is in Columbia, SC, but the position requires extensive travel to various SC counties to hold court, normally for one-week terms. The law clerk will assist the judge with cases in criminal and civil court for trials, guilty pleas, motions and other hearings. The judicial law clerk will prepare legal memoranda, conduct legal research, communicate with attorneys, coordinate scheduling and other various tasks.

Hiring criteria
