NY based boutique law firm is looking to hire a law school graduate who has been admitted and practicing in the fields of Litigation and/or Intellectual Property/Brand Protection for 2-4 years. Position is remote based but would report to and assist our Litigation Dept. Managing Attorney in SC and a firm Partner who is based in FL and oversees our Brand Protection practice. Growth with the firm is possible and encouraged especially if candidate demonstrates proficiency, eagerness to work and develop. A comprehensive benefits package is available and includes but is not limited to: Health Insurance, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off. Some business travel may be required but is generally not more than 2-4x per year.

Hiring criteria
Competitve candidates need to have strong writing / research skills, critical thinking, organizational skills and be independent in decision making if necessary. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assistance with legal briefs, motion filings/calendar scheduling/organization, legal research/writing, participation in strategy meetings, preparation for court hearings, witness prep, client meetings and case analysis.
Administrative duties may include maintenance of virtual files, emails/docs, faxing/scanning etc.
Firm works with clients on design/utility patents and copyright infringement issues as well as a multitude of other business industry related topics.
