We’re looking for an Associate who can:
Assist senior attorneys with commercial transactions, including seller and buyer-side mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings.
Draft and review corporate organizational documents, specifically for LLCs, corporations, and non-profit corporations, and provide other planning and structural assistance.
Assist with contract drafting for the commercial team’s general corporate practice.
Bonus if the candidate has experience and background in estate planning.

Hiring criteria
The ideal candidate will have an LLM in taxation, two to three years of relevant experience, and work from our Columbia, SC office. Candidate must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar Association. Corporate and transactional experience, an MBA, or other similar education or background in business will be strongly considered in the absence of an LLM.
