Job Title: Assistant Solicitor

The Assistant Solicitor will prosecute criminal cases in Florence County and Marion County, South Carolina. This will include but not be limited to examination of reports and other discovery, communicating with victims, law enforcement, and defense counsel about plea offers, hearings, trial preparation, etc., handling preliminary hearings, and preparing indictments and other documents for court. Job responsibilities will be primarily focused on the handling of guilty pleas, bond hearings, and jury trials in General Sessions Court.

Hiring criteria
