Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Parker Law, LLC is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. With offices in Columbia and Chapin, we serve clients throughout South Carolina in probate litigation, estate administration, estate planning, and civil litigation matters.

The attorney in this role will focus on litigation in the areas of estate, trust, fiduciary, and life insurance disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants more time in the courtroom with reasonable billable requirements and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in estate, trust, fiduciary, and commercial litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and memos.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including depositions.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver effective legal solutions.

Hiring criteria

Qualifications:
• Member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar; Rule 403 requirements satisfied.
• Litigation experience preferred, including discovery, motions, and hearings/trials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
