Job Title: Staff Attorney

This is a full-time salaried immigration attorney position. The attorney will provide all types of direct immigration legal services to those immigrants in our communities who cannot afford private attorneys. Duties will include representation in removal defense, including asylum, and affirmative asylum, U Visa, T Visa, SIJS, VAWA, TPS, family immigration, naturalization and DACA from intake stage, through full legal screening, case preparation, filing, court appearances, USCIS hearings, and all follow-up stages. The attorney will handle cases for non-detained clients including representation at all levels of EOIR at both Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), with possible representation at the US District and Circuit Court of Appeals levels and will represent clients at all types of USCIS application and interview stages.

Hiring criteria

JD degree required; two or more years practicing immigration law strongly preferred.
